Research Interests

Structural geology and tectonic, Igneous and metamorphic petrology, Economic geology-Ore deposits, Critical minerals, GIS-Remote sensing and modeling, Machine learning

My current research at Â鶹ÊÓƵ centers on employing a multidisciplinary approach that integrates Structural geology and Tectonics, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), optical petrography, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray fluorescence (XRF) mapping, electron microprobe analysis, whole-rock geochemistry, geochronology, and isotope analysis, on the dynamic evolution of the Earth’s crust and lithosphere,  unraveling the crustal-scale evolution of mountain ranges and the influence of deformation on the formation of ore deposits.

In addition to my research, I teach Structural Geology, Physical Geology, Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology, Economic Geology, Geochemistry, and Field Camp.
