How to register for the HESI

In order to take the HESI exam, you must create an Evolve account. You will need a username and password to take the exam. If you do not create an account before your test date, you will not be able to sit for this exam.

Testing Schedule

Tuesday - Friday
8:00 am to 12:00 pm 

What to Bring on Test Day

You will need a valid (non-expired) photo ID.
Examples: Driver’s License, State ID, Passport, Military ID, School ID.
 
Calculators will be provided on the computer. 

When do I take HESI?

October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025 

What Sections Do I Take?

Effective beginning with the Spring 2021 admission window, the HESI will include critical thinking.

BSN – Reading Comprehension*, Critical Thinking, Vocabulary & General Knowledge, Grammar, Basic Math Skills, Anatomy & Physiology, and Chemistry

*Students will have until September 30th to retake the Reading Comprehension section only.

Scores

You will receive an unofficial copy of your score report upon completing your exam. All scores must be reported to the Nursing Department. Students are not allowed to cancel scores after the completion of testing. The testing center will provide official scores to the nursing department.

Testing Accommodations
