Through Our Times: Occasional Poems 1960-2017

Through Our TImes

by Mark Busby

“Through the small voice of a single figure listening to the jangle and hum of human suffering and joy,” Busby’s remarkable collection of lyric poetry spans decades of events that caught his attention and moved him. The poems here speak with insight and humor of war, education, politics, sports, small town Texas life, literature, and loss. Read these poems for their music, for their artistry, and for the engaging way they present Busby’s observations on our recent history.
