Recipients of the scholarship will be selected by a university scholarship committee, based on the criteria outlined in the endowment agreement. To qualify, students must be pursuing a degree within the designated fields, maintain full-time student status according to their degree plan curriculum, and uphold a minimum GPA of 3.0. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for the scholarship, with exceptions allowed for those involved in approved cooperative education programs, internships, or those in their final semester who may not need to be full-time to graduate.

The scholarship was established by Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumni Cam V. Le and Carla J. Pulumbarit. Le, a 2002 graduate with a degree in chemical engineering, was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and currently works at Shell. Pulumbarit, a 2001 nursing graduate, currently works in the Texas Medical Center as a nurse.

The Cam Le and Carla Pulumbarit Scholarship will be awarded for the first time next year, continuing the university’s mission to provide educational opportunities for its diverse student body.
