Glenn Utter

B.A. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton
M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo
M.A. in Philosophy from the University of London.

Dr. Utter served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at Â鶹ÊÓƵ where he taught since 1969. His areas of instruction include American government and politics and classical and contemporary political thought. Dr. Utter has authored, co-authored, and edited 14 books, including American Political Scientists: A Dictionary, The Religious Right, and Campaign and Election Reform. His three-volume work, Guns and Contemporary Society: The Past, Present, and Future of Firearms and Firearm Policy, was recently published. He is currently completing the third edition of Encyclopedia of Gun Control and Gun Rights. Dr. Utter is also the author of numerous articles and book chapters.
