Pre-Professional Programs

The College offers several pre-professional programs for students planning careers in law or in one of the primary health care delivery areas:

It is important to keep in mind that the pre-professional areas are not academic majors; rather, they are suggested programs of study that prepare you to apply to professional schools upon completing their bachelor's degrees.

Since acceptance to professional schools is so competitive, you should strive for a 3.50 or higher average in order to be considered as a serious applicant for admission.

Similarly, and as early as your freshman year in college, pre-professional students should seek to be involved in campus and community activities that further reflect their maturity, character, hunger for learning, potential for leadership and sound ethical judgment.
