Training

Â鶹ÊÓƵ engages in the risk reduction strategies to limit the risk of sexual misconduct for the campus community. Every incoming student, including undergraduate transfer students and international students, and new employees shall attend prevention and education training or orientation regarding sexual misconduct and the campus sexual assault policy during the first semester or term of enrollment or employment. 


Title IX Training for All Staff and Faculty

Â鶹ÊÓƵ has contracted with Get Inclusive, Inc. to provide an online training course titled "Harassment and Discrimination Prevention & Title IX" to create awareness and enable community members to take a proactive role in preventing incidents of sexual misconduct. This course also satisfies the mandatory annual Campus SAVE Act (2014) employee training requirement.

You will receive an email from Â鶹ÊÓƵ Training Nest indicating you have been registered for this annual training. Follow the instructions to complete "Harassment and Discrimination Prevention & Title IX". The due date to complete this training will appear on the email.

Requirements for Students

All first-time, first year, transfer and graduate students are required to complete the online Title IX training before the prescribed deadline to avoid a registration hold. The Title IX training is offered through Get Inclusive, Inc. An email is sent to your detailing the actions you should take.

Registration holds will be applied to all students who have not completed the assigned training.


Requirements for Title IX Personnel

Title IX personnel are required to complete training specific to their role in the College's Title IX process. 2020 updates to Title IX regulations (34 CFR Part 106.45(b)(10)) require that this training be posted on the College's website. You are authorized to view these materials but must comply with creators' copyrights.
